In another verse, we read:
Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones who] believe in it. (Al-Baqarah 2:121)
Welcome to a new interesting episode of “Correct Your Recitation” series with Sheikh Muhammad Salah and his guests. First Sheikh Isma`il recites the full surah of Al-Layl (The Night). Surat Al-Layl is the 92th chapter of the Qur’an with twenty-one verses. It is one of the first surahs that were revealed in Makkah. It commences with many oaths sworn on astronomical phenomena such as night, day, etc. The surah distinguishes two types of individuals. The first type is characterized by giving of their wealth in charity, having taqwa (fear of Allah), and reflecting the good morals. The second type is characterized by stinginess and carelessness about God.
As usual Dr. Muhammad Salah begins his talk by reflecting on the verses of the surah to ease their understanding for viewers. He sheds light on the bodily acts of worship such as giving in charity and the bodily acts of worship such as offering prayer.
Then Dr. Muhammad receives the phone calls of the viewers to correct their recitation.
Enjoy watching this interesting talk with Dr. Muhammad Salah to know new rules of tajweed.
